Designated agent
Takedown notice requirements
Your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material with enough detail for us to locate it (a URL or game slug works best).
- Your contact information (address, phone number, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was in error (e.g. fair use, licensed use), you may submit a counter-notice to the same email. We will restore content that receives a valid counter-notice unless the original complainant files a legal action.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that receive repeated DMCA notices are suspended and eventually terminated, in accordance with the DMCA.
